Christmas Season

The Christmas Season is here, and for me this one of best times of the year because Im able to spend time with family, be off of work, and just relax!!!

Christmas is supposed to be a time when we celebrate the miraculous birth of Jesus Christ! It is so important because without his birth, he could not have lived, without his life, he could not have died, and without his death we would all remain in our sins!!!

Why is it that during times like this where we should be celebrating and reflecting on the goodness of God, that the world/ media injects other icons to distract us from the very purpose of the season.

For example, During Christmas - Its Santa Clause and Rudolph
                   During Easter      -  The Easter bunny

Apostolic ???

Have you ever got a strange look, when you told someone you go to an Apostolic church, or you believe in the apostolic doctrine, or you belong to Young APOSTOLIC Students for Christ!!! 

Apostolic...what is that???

Well Apostolic comes from the root word Apostle, and it simply means that we believe in teachings of Jesus Christ as they were handed down to the Apostles. John 17:20 states that we should "believe on Him (Jesus Christ) through their (Apostles) word". Acts 2:42 states that "they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine".
